Linear magnetrons

Applied Multilayers manufactures a range of standard linear magnetrons for optical coating applications. These magnetrons support a target width of 133mm. Externally mounted magnetrons support targets 40cm, 60cm and 1m in length. Above 1m, the magnetrons are usually internally mounted.

• Magnet packs can be easily exchanged to provide different degrees of unbalance
• Hinged magnetrons available for easy of target exchange
• Handling trolleys available for longer heavier magnetrons

Circular magnetrons

Applied Multilayers also supplies circular magnetrons of 6 inch diameter to support the Express coating system.
